The Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Windsor is a thesis-based graduate program that prepares students for doctoral studies or a professional career in computing. Students complete coursework in specialized areas of computer science, take part in research seminars, and carry out an original research thesis under faculty supervision. An optional Artificial Intelligence stream, endorsed by the Vector Institute, is available to students already admitted to the MSc program who wish to focus their research and coursework on AI. Admission requires an undergraduate degree in a related field, and applicants submit an MSc Study Plan/Research Statement of 500 words or less along with two academic referee assessments and a resume or CV. The program admits students in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms. Graduates are equipped for research-oriented careers in industry or for continuing to PhD-level study.
