Pastry Arts Certificate - ESL

Admission Requirements: Academic entry needs successful completion of Grade 10, or its equivalent in the applicant's country of origin, and a Grade 10-level Math course or equivalent, plus a valid BC FoodSafe Level 1 Certificate or equivalent, kept valid throughout the program. English is met by one of: proof of VCC's Lower Intermediate English or equivalent (Canadian Language Benchmark 5 in Listening, Speaking and Reading and 4 in Writing); TOEFL iBT 45; or IELTS overall 4.5 with no band below 4.0. General conditions: Canadian citizen or permanent resident, aged 16 or older or a secondary-school graduate, official transcripts and supporting documents submitted, seats awarded on a first-qualified basis. The program also expects physical capacity to handle wheat, dairy, egg and nut products and requires disclosure of any known food allergy. The intake is currently under review with no confirmed next start date.
