Cert in Art and Design Foundations (In-person)

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or acceptance as a mature applicant, plus a Grade 12 C or U English course or equivalent. Canadian citizens and permanent residents who fall short of the English subject may instead qualify by passing Seneca's own pre-admission test, and upgrading is recommended for applicants who do not meet the academic subject requirement. International applicants must separately satisfy Seneca's English-language requirements and may be asked for additional documents or assessments depending on home country. Seneca notes it may offer places in this program to applicants who applied to other design programs, such as Animation or Illustration, in order to strengthen their foundational art skills; no portfolio, interview, or GPA minimum is stated.
