Computer Aided Drafting & Building Information Modelling Diploma

Admission Requirements: VCC's own page for the CAD and BIM Diploma requires Grade 12 graduation or equivalent, English Studies 12 with a minimum "C-" grade, and Workplace Mathematics 11, or their equivalents. Applicants completing high-school Drafting 11 and 12 may, with departmental approval, enter directly at Level 2, and graduates of VCC's Architectural, Civil/Structural, Mechanical or Steel Construction Modelling Technician Certificate within the last three years, or of a Drafting Technician Certificate from another institution reviewed and approved by the department, can also gain advanced standing. No English-proficiency test score (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo or CAEL) is stated. General conditions: Canadian citizen or permanent resident, aged 16 or older or a secondary-school graduate, with official transcripts and supporting documents submitted; the two-year, 70-credit diploma begins in September and must be completed within five years.
