Micro-credential in Addiction Counselling Skills Award of Achievement

Admission Requirements: Admission is assessed on background rather than a course transcript: applicants must show prior education, experience or training in the helping fields, and a stated desire to develop skills supporting vulnerable people with addictions. VCC encourages applicants with lived experience of addiction to apply. To be evaluated, applicants upload supporting documentation — a resume, records of relevant training or education, and/or a letter of intent — for departmental review; the page describes no formal admissions interview or portfolio requirement. No secondary-school credential, minimum grade, or standardized English-language test score such as IELTS or TOEFL is listed on the programme page.
