MA/MS in Combined Social Sciences

Combined Social Sciences is a master's programme of 90 ECTS credits taught in Estonian as session-based study in Tartu, with a nominal length of one and a half years. It admits 10 students and charges tuition per semester or per ECTS credit. Instead of a fixed curriculum, students assemble their own master's studies from micro-degree programmes in the social sciences, matching the content to their interests and professional needs. The studies are a combination of micro-degree programmes drawn from eight units of the University of Tartu's social sciences field. Combining social sciences in this way lets graduates stand out in the labour market with specific knowledge and skills, and brings individual study paths into higher education. Applications are accepted from 15 May to 15 August, the first admission decisions are issued on 24 August and the academic year begins on 31 August.
