MA/MS in Proviisori (2 v)

The two-year Swedish-taught Master of Science (Pharmacy) programme for provisors at Åbo Akademi deepens knowledge of the pharmaceutical sciences, with a focus on industrial pharmacy and drug development. Core courses cover drug development, pharmaceutical technology, analytical methods, drug safety, clinical trials, good manufacturing practice and quality assurance. Professional development is supported by courses in economics and in health sciences related to the pharmacy field. Students can specialise in biosciences, new technologies in drug development and manufacturing, or drug design. Graduates can carry out research projects and are familiar with the common research and analytical methods. The 120 ECTS programme is tuition-free and encourages industrial internships and exchange study abroad.
