MA/MS in Terveystieteet, kandidaatti ja maisteri (3 v + 2 v)

This Swedish-taught health sciences programme at Åbo Akademi's Vaasa unit leads to a bachelor's and then a master's degree, 300 ECTS credits over five years. Students specialise in either nursing science or health promotion and health knowledge as the main subject. The programme covers human health and wellbeing across the life course, people in care, and evidence-based approaches for strengthening population health and welfare. It also addresses change work in health care, welfare technology, patient care quality and leadership of health services. Teaching is contact-based during the day.
