MA/MS in Arkkitehtuuri, kandidaatti ja arkkitehti (3 v + 2 v)

This five-year programme in architecture is taught in Finnish and combines a bachelor's degree in architectural technology with a master's degree in architecture, totalling 300 ECTS credits at the Faculty of Built Environment in Tampere. It develops creative design skills and the professional competence of architects, who must address urban growth, climate change, digitalisation and scarce natural resources. About 50 international exchange and degree students study each year on the Hervanta campus. The architect degree gives the professional qualification of an architect and a broad understanding of architecture, which combines science, art and technology. Graduates work in companies, as entrepreneurs, and in the public sector. The studies meet the objectives and requirements that the EU professional qualifications directive sets for architect education.
