Master's Degree Programme in Biosciences, Master of Science (2 years)

The programme offers two tracks covering the theories and concepts behind current technologies used to study life's patterns and processes, from the cellular to the ecosystem level. The Evolutionary Biology track deepens knowledge of physiology, genetics, ecology and evolutionary biology, with particular attention to bioinformatics and computational methods for analysing modern and ancient DNA data. The Molecular Systems Biology track provides extensive training in modern molecular biology and systems biology, covering genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and gene and protein structure-function relationships, with particular attention to practical laboratory skills and molecular interaction networks.
