Overview
The third-year Licence Musicologie, Danse track builds general knowledge that is both theoretical and practical. It aims to deepen choreographic culture in aesthetics, history and anthropology for people with amateur dance or somatic practice who see dance as an art or social practice. It also serves dance professionals, teachers and journalists who want historical and theoretical dance culture alongside their practice.
The track prepares students for research at master's and doctoral level, and for work in documentation, artistic research and programming. Graduates can move from practice into programming, criticism or cultural action.
