Overview
The Master in Dance offers broad training in choreographic culture and critical reflection on creative and teaching practices in dance. It targets a varied public: young dancers, choreographers, dance teachers, students from other arts, dance animators and professionals retraining. The programme pursues four aims: deepen knowledge of dance, including its history, aesthetics and anthropology; add a theoretical and analytic dimension to practice; encourage critical thinking about the link between theory and dance skills; and prepare students for doctoral research. Its content covers creation, mediation and the analysis of works and of the performer's work.
