MA/MS in Literaturwissenschaft

The Master programme in Literary Studies at Bielefeld University was introduced in winter 2012/13 with module names matching its predecessor. Module structure and content are identical, but graded work is now assessed through module final examinations. Examination forms vary by module: a 45-minute oral examination, a term paper of about 20 pages, a seminar presentation with a written elaboration, or a research or working project with documentation. Each module has its own examination format. The LiLi study advisory checklist shows the examination forms and module sequences for the master programme and is a useful reference before enrolling. Students interested in the master programme can use the study path page to identify the relevant module handbook and course catalogue entries. Students should check the module list to see which examination applies to each module.
