The Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership (Operational & Strategic) is a one-year, part-time course at Level 7. It is intended for people in roles that involve managing staff, teams or organisations, and starts are arranged on demand.
The course builds professional skill and political awareness so that students can support operational and strategic development in a leadership setting. Students need 60 credits from optional modules, with listed choices including Leading Resilient Teams, Policy, Strategy & Planning, and Coaching & Mentoring.
Middlesex University oversees quality assurance, while TGI University Centre designs and delivers the course, and successful students receive a Middlesex award. Modules centred on leadership also carry accreditation from the Institute of Leadership. Classes take place at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital campus, taught sessions must be attended, and employer study leave is strongly recommended. The fee is £4,000 per academic year, and employers may sponsor applicants.
