Certificate in Leadership for INClusion in the Early Years

A fully funded continuing professional development certificate for early learning and childcare educators that supports the inclusion of every child in their setting. Graduates qualify as inclusion coordinators in their service and gain recognition as lead educators under the government qualification guidelines. The course is delivered by a consortium led by the college, working with partner bodies in early childhood education, primary teacher education and childcare networks. Participants build knowledge and practical leadership skills so they can plan, put into practice and review inclusive practice, guiding other staff as they do so. The programme responds to national demand for continuing professional development in early years inclusion.
