Overview

This four-year BSc is taken through the Biological, Biomedical and Biomolecular Sciences stream of the Science entry route. The stream is shared across several science courses at UCD. The course is delivered on campus over 240 credits at NFQ Level 8. The programme page lists internship and study abroad opportunities. Admission Requirements: Entry via DN200 BLS1 Science stream. A-level AAC / ABBD / ABB plus D at AS level; IB 33 points. Mathematics GCSE A or A-level D (or AS-level C), or IB SL 6 / HL 4; laboratory science at the same level. Leaving Certificate O2/H6 in Mathematics, O2/H6 in a laboratory science (Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or Geography may substitute) and O6/H7 in English, Irish and two other recognised subjects. CAO points 2026: 543.
