UCC's Bachelor of Science in Networking with Cyber Security is built around the practical skills needed to maintain IT networks and protect organisations from data breaches, privacy leaks and cyber-attacks, giving students an extensive, hands-on foundation covering how enterprise networks and computing environments get designed, built and secured.
The programme is delivered fully online and runs as a four-year degree, reducible by up to two years for students holding an Associate of Science qualification or equivalent advanced standing.
Unconditional admission requires five GCE or CSEC subjects, including English and Mathematics, at grades A-C or 1-3, with CSEC grade 3 accepted since 1998. Four CXC passes allow conditional entry through UCC's replacement courses, a mature-entry route is open from age 25 with five years of work experience, and eight CXC/GCE Grade 1 passes including English and Mathematics earn a 25% first-year tuition waiver.
