Overview

The FdA Business and Management is a two-year foundation degree aimed at people finishing school or changing career who want a recognised business qualification as a start in business or financial services. Financial services make up over 40% of Jersey's economy and employ above 20% of its workforce. The programme was designed with leading local employers so that it reflects real industry needs. Graduates are prepared for careers that include banking, trust administration, compliance and corporate governance, as well as business roles outside finance. Learners undertake work-based learning and are supported in securing suitable placement opportunities. Entry is based on UCAS points and GCSE Maths and English. The course runs only if enough applications are received, and fees could change.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: 64 UCAS points and GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above. Other Level 3 qualifications are considered, and mature applicants with relevant professional experience or qualifications are assessed individually.
