BA/BS in English Language Preparatory Program

The English Language Preparatory Program is a foundation track that gets incoming students ready to study their chosen subject in English, rather than a stand-alone academic major. It builds listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in stages, moving students up through a sequence of proficiency levels instead of treating English ability as fixed from day one. Alongside language instruction, the program folds in mathematics and information technology coursework, giving students a broader academic base before they move into discipline-specific study. Classroom work leans on integrated, task-based activities designed to build critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills at the same time as grammar and vocabulary, and the program places explicit weight on integrity, self-discipline, and responsibility as habits students will need once they reach their degree coursework. Successful completion is meant to leave students able to follow lectures and join discussions entirely in English.
