BA/BS in English

This AIU program prepares candidates to teach English at the elementary level, combining subject content with the pedagogical grounding needed to shape the school's broader conceptual framework for young learners. It leads to a bachelor's degree in education and is built to meet the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education's requirements for initial teacher certification, alongside a defined set of graduate attributes the School of Education expects every completer to demonstrate. Earning the degree requires a minimum of 124 credits spread across general education, School of Education core courses, and major requirements, all governed by AIU's standard academic rules for the department. On completion, graduates are eligible to apply for elementary teaching certification within the English concentration and can pursue a variety of academic and school-based roles in Kuwait's education sector, from classroom teaching to curriculum-support positions.
