BA/BS in Psiholoģija

The programme provides an academic grounding in psychology, combining core theoretical approaches with training in research methods and independent enquiry. Students learn to design, carry out and present research projects, while developing skills in analysing and comparing competing psychological theories and applying them across disciplinary contexts. Coursework builds critical and analytical thinking alongside communication skills needed for both academic and professional settings, with attention paid throughout to the ethical responsibilities of psychological research and practice. Graduates are trained to gather, select and interpret information independently, to explain psychological concepts and proposed solutions to specialists and non-specialists alike, and to assess how a psychologist's work affects individuals and wider society.
