Overview
The programme develops analytical and theoretical grounding in international relations, preparing graduates either to apply their knowledge directly in professional settings or to continue toward further academic study. Teaching centres on building the reasoning and research skills needed to interpret international political, diplomatic and institutional processes, giving students a foundation broad enough to work across government, diplomatic and organisational contexts.
Career paths associated with the degree include roles within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its diplomatic missions abroad, the Ministry of Defence, and other state institutions such as the ministries of culture, the interior or education and science, as well as the national parliament. Graduates also move into companies engaged in international cooperation or into international organisations, applying their analytical training to cross-border cooperation and policy work.
