BA/BS in Dual Award Programme in Computer Science

This Dual Award programme in Computer Science was developed jointly by the University of Latvia and the University of Lincoln in the UK, built on the combined experience of both institutions and aiming to meet industry needs and student interests. The BSc (Hons) gives students the chance to build the hands-on ability, skills and understanding needed to design and build computing solutions, in both software and hardware, for problems drawn from the real world, with particular attention to artificial intelligence and machine learning alongside core computer science disciplines. Students are encouraged to work alongside academics on research projects, and the programme includes a compulsory industry internship that starts in the second year, giving graduates real work experience before they finish their degree.
