MA/MS in Germanic studies

The programme prepares specialists in Germanic studies with a focus on research into cultural heritage and current issues in the field, approached from an intercultural perspective spanning the Baltic states, Germany and Scandinavia, with particular attention to the historical and present-day links between them. Shared courses and specialisation options address topics such as the German cultural environment, cultural theory, media and communication processes, modern literary theory, lexicography, regional language variation, Nordic languages and cultures, and the translation of both literary and applied texts.
