BA/BS in Languages, Communication and Cultural Environment

This bachelor's programme is meant for students who see themselves working in a multilingual environment of communication, culture, text processing and translation, with opportunities in Latvia and abroad. It prepares specialists for international and local companies, institutions and organisations that need language-related services. Graduates can provide services in areas such as text creation, translation, localisation, media communication, editing, text quality assessment and quality assurance, and they learn to integrate artificial intelligence language solutions into their work and to adapt texts. Study is full time on campus, takes three years and is taught in Latvian. Graduates receive a bachelor of humanities degree in languages, communication and cultural environment.
