Bachelor in Psychology is a bachelor's degree in Psychology programme taught at Université du Luxembourg in Luxembourg, Luxembourg. The programme runs for 3 years, delivered on campus. It carries 180.0 credits (ECTS). Tuition for international students is EUR 400 per semester (EUR 400 per semester for local students).
This three-year degree provides a scientifically grounded introduction to psychology, with roughly a third of the content devoted to empirical research methods. Students study core areas such as general, social and personality psychology together with biopsychology, and gain knowledge of psychological assessment and intervention. The programme also introduces the three classical applied fields and other areas of practice, and electives allow some specialisation in selected research topics. Each course is taught in a single language, but the programme as a whole uses German, French and English, with most classes in German, so applicants need advanced German and upper-intermediate French and English. A semester abroad is compulsory. The programme holds a quality seal from the German Psychological Society. Intake is limited, and selection is based mainly on school grades and a motivation letter, with interviews for some applicants. The Bachelor is presented as a foundation for Master's study, which is needed to practise as a psychologist.
