Master in Space Technologies and Business is a master's degree in Aerospace & Automotive Engineering programme offered by Université du Luxembourg in Luxembourg, Luxembourg. The programme runs for 2 years, delivered on campus. It carries 120.0 credits (ECTS). Tuition for international students is EUR 2,000 per semester (EUR 2,000 per semester for local students).
Created with the Luxembourg Space Agency, this interdisciplinary Master prepares students to handle both the engineering and the commercial sides of space missions. Three semesters of courses combine space technology topics with business, finance and entrepreneurship; activities include a space resources week and a field trip to ESRIC laboratories. The final semester is a Master thesis in space engineering, space informatics, space business and finance, or space entrepreneurship, which may be hosted by companies, other universities, public research bodies or space agencies. Intake is capped at a small cohort, and paid student jobs in university space research groups working on systems engineering, robotics and communications can run alongside studies. The programme charges a fee above the standard university rate. Graduates can join the space and NewSpace sector as engineers, researchers or project managers, or pursue doctoral research in fields such as satellite communications, space robotics or earth observation.
