The Master of Computer Science is a newer programme of the Faculty of Data Science at City University of Macau, designed to support Macao's regional development plans and the national digital economy strategy. It is aimed at students who want to apply computer science to complex problems in big data settings.
Teaching centres on two areas: artificial intelligence, covering topics such as deep learning, federated learning and large-scale data analysis, and information security, covering topics such as blockchain, post-quantum and public key cryptography, and data privacy. Graduates are expected to work in research and applied roles in those fields.
