Overview

This three-year Bachelor of Science in Networking at Villa College's School of Computer Science builds the technical and professional skills needed to manage networking problems. Students combine networking theory with hands-on practice using the Cisco Packet Tracer tool, covering routing and switching, wireless essentials and enterprise network automation, so graduates can design and run sophisticated network solutions for local and international employers. Classes run as a mix of on-campus and online sessions, giving working students flexibility, and the course finishes with a final-year project plus an industry-experience component. A government scheme covers part of the monthly fee for Maldivian students, while the degree itself targets local and global demand for skilled networking graduates.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: General route: two A-Level or HSC passes (grade E or above at A-Level, C or above at HSC), or a Level 4 qualification in a related field, or a Level 4 Foundation Study Programme approved for the diploma.
