Overview

This master's merges creative design practice with educational theory, aiming at designers and educators who want to lead innovation in art and design teaching. Learners move through design principles and branding into teaching methods, educational leadership and a dissertation, with a non-examinable practical component built into the second year. Study normally takes a minimum of 2 years and can extend up to 4 years for those progressing part time. New students join in February and August, and a top-performer scholarship plus an instalment payment option are both available through the university.

Minimum GPA: 2.50 / 4

Admission Requirements: Candidates normally hold a Bachelor's degree in Visual or Fine Arts, Graphic or Multimedia Design, or Communication and Marketing, with a second-class result or GPA of at least 2.5 out of 4; relevant work experience can substitute in some cases, and a portfolio may be requested.
