Program details

Overview

The bachelor trains students as heritage professionals who work with tangible, intangible and movable heritage alike, from artworks and archaeological finds to collections, landscapes and traditions. Projects, courses and placements cover the whole heritage field, with many excursions to heritage institutions and practical work alongside curators, educators and researchers on questions of reuse, preservation and audience engagement. Graduates leave as all-round heritage generalists who can frame a problem and carry out practical solutions within a team. The four-year programme is presented as the only professional bachelor of its kind in Europe and awards a Bachelor of Arts.
