Overview
The two-year, full-time research master (120 EC), hosted by the Neuroscience department, is aimed at able students entering a fast-growing field, with the goal of shaping them into researchers capable of working independently. It combines high-quality theoretical knowledge with extensive hands-on research training, preparing graduates to advance both basic and biomedical or clinical neuroscience research. Graduates are prepared for PhD positions across a wide range of medical fields, including psychiatry, oncology, neurosurgery, neurology, psychology, gerontology, ophthalmology and otolaryngology, as well as for research roles in industry, from molecular and genetic approaches to drug development within pharmaceutical companies to robotics designs that draw on neural principles and intelligent interfaces between humans and machines.
