MA/MS in Health Promotion

The programme responds to urgent, complex challenges — unhealthy lifestyles and their growing impact, health risks tied to climate change, inequalities in health, problems with mental health, and the rise in chronic disease — training 'health promoters of the future' who are ready to take on complex problems and help build healthier, more equitable societies through innovative, evidence-based, and collaborative work. Because improving wellbeing goes beyond individual choices and behaviour, the programme also trains students to grasp and help steer the environments and policies that shape health, suiting those with a strong interest in how environment, policy, and behaviour interact to affect health and wellbeing, and who want to design, carry out, and evaluate programmes aimed at promoting health.
