Overview

This Economics Master's takes a challenge-driven teaching approach centred on today's most pressing societal problems, training students to apply economic theory and empirical methods directly to global challenges such as inequality, climate change and technological change, including how to develop recommendations for firms or shape policy. The toolkit spans data science, applied econometrics and experimental and behavioural economics, through to industrial organisation, growth theory and labour economics, with specialisations available in three societal challenge areas: inequality and social inclusion, sustainable and resilient economies, and technology, markets and societal change.
