MA/MS in Computer Science: Foundations of Computing

This specialisation focuses on core concepts that span different areas of computer science, preparing students for interdisciplinary work. It covers modelling complex software systems and applying automated proof techniques to verify their correctness, along with using symbolic computation to address difficult computational problems and support reasoning for artificial intelligence. Further study covers concurrency for analysing parallel systems, non-deterministic and probabilistic computational models, and the use of quantum computers to solve problems more efficiently than classical computers can.
