MA/MS in Youth, Education and Society

This Utrecht interdisciplinary master's programme teaches students to connect questions of youth, development, and education to current national and international social issues. It addresses the relationship between children and young people and their guardians and educators, and considers how policy might better support children, young people, and parents, improving their standing, wellbeing, and development, including through international comparison. Known in Dutch as Maatschappelijke opvoedingsvraagstukken, it is presented as the only programme of its kind among Dutch master's degrees, centred on renewing practices and policies concerning children, youth, and education at both a national and an international level.
