Program details

Overview

The master's programme trains biomedical life science graduates to become researchers capable of contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, with a focus on the molecular basis of cancer development and identifying the aberrant molecules that drive it. It suits students who enjoy laboratory work at the molecular and cellular level, who can devise new experimental approaches and ask relevant research questions, and who can quickly absorb and apply new concepts. Research is carried out in collaboration with the AMC and NKI, two institutes specialising in cancer research.
