MA/MS in Ecology

Wageningen's Ecology specialisation is centred on conserving biodiversity and maintaining ecosystem functioning across terrestrial and marine environments that are changing. Field research, molecular techniques, modelling, and the quantitative analysis of large datasets are all part of the specialisation. Past thesis topics include the hunting tactics of peregrines and other falcons, the mechanisms behind small-scale foraging by large herbivores, and how the melting of permafrost affects tree seedling establishment in subarctic peatlands.
