Program details

Overview

This part-time continuing education course in magnetic resonance (MR) for radiographers gives a theoretical basis for how MR images are formed. It is for those with a bachelor in radiography and one year of work experience as a radiographer. Teaching is mainly online with blocks on campus over two years, and the workload equals about 50 per cent of a full-time study, around 800 hours a year. Completing it qualifies applicants for the master in medical imaging technology at NTNU, and it may be credited toward other master programmes. The award is Videreutdanning i MR.
