Bioingeniørfag - bachelor

The bachelor in biomedical laboratory science is offered in Trondheim and Ålesund and combines technology with health. Students learn to take blood samples, analyse biological materials, use advanced laboratory equipment and quality-assure laboratory methods. Teaching includes both theory and practical work, and the course prepares graduates for all types of medical laboratories, particularly within health and research. The 180-credit degree is awarded as Bachelor i bioingeniørfag, and bioingeniører prepare blood and tissue samples whose results support early detection and treatment of disease.
