Overview

The anaesthesia nursing master's programme prepares nurses to give anaesthesia and pain relief during surgery, examinations and other procedures, and to act as a resource in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and acute critical care. Full-time study takes place on campus at Pilestredet. Teaching covers anaesthesiology, acute medicine, handling of sudden illness and complications, and advanced life support. It is a 120-credit master's programme within the specialised nursing master's for acutely and critically ill patients.
