BA/BS in Bachelorstudium i sosialt arbeid

This bachelor programme in social work prepares students to help people facing difficult life situations and to strengthen the welfare society. Students learn how individual problems connect to social structures and how living conditions, health, education and work affect quality of life. Teaching combines theory, practice and skills training. The full-time programme runs over three years in Fredrikstad, with psychology, law, social policy and social science. Practice periods build skills in communication, guidance, interdisciplinary cooperation and legal judgement. Graduates receive the title sosionom, and the programme can lead on to master's studies.
