MA/MS in Psykologi

The psychology professional programme is a six-year study that leads to authorisation as a psychologist, with 360 study points. The first part gives thorough training in psychological subject areas and scientific method, alongside courses that prepare students for the professional role of psychologist. Later parts deepen clinical psychology through therapy training and practice. The final part includes a full semester of practice at an external institution and an independent scientific project. Students study in cohorts of about 90 for the first two years and can take up to three semesters abroad. Graduates earn the cand.psychol. degree, which allows independent practice as a psychologist and gives access to a PhD.
