BA/BS in IT og informasjonssystemer

The bachelor programme in IT and information systems looks at how technology, individuals and society shape one another. Students learn to analyse user needs, design, develop and program information systems and apps, and understand how systems are developed, implemented and used in organisations. The programme takes a technology, organisation and economics perspective, and IT security and universal design can be explored in depth. The 180-credit degree is a campus-based full-time study in Kristiansand that requires attendance in teaching activities. Students can take the fourth semester at a partner institution abroad. Graduates work with design, development and operation of IT systems in private companies, the public sector and organisations, and some former students have started their own companies.
