B.Eng. (Hons) Computer Engineering - Cyber Security (Bachelor)

This honours engineering degree, taught at Middle East College and awarded by Coventry University in the United Kingdom, combines a computer engineering core with a specialised information security pathway. It is delivered on campus in English, with full-time and part-time attendance listed, over a four-year bachelor's route that also lists a two-year diploma. Students learn to find and remove weaknesses in systems and to operate connected technologies safely, including the Internet of Things, cloud platforms, sensors, networks of computers and wireless communications. A central theme is the security engineering of both cyber and physical systems, systems that appear more and more often in daily life. The college positions the pathway for graduates seeking cybersecurity roles in Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, where businesses and governments need people who can protect sensitive data and digital assets.
