Master of Science in Cyber Security

This master's programme in cyber security is taught at Middle East College in affiliation with Coventry University. It responds to the growing need for people who understand the security implications of information and communication technology, and it considers the legal and ethical issues involved. The programme aims to give graduates both specific and general technical skills. Topics span securing networks, ethical hacking, secure software design, encryption, the acquisition, recovery and analysis of digital data, protection of emerging systems, and the management of security risk, audits and incidents. The college says feedback from students, industry and other stakeholders shaped the programme, which also follows Oman's 2040 vision. Study takes one year full time or two years part time, with delivery split between online and offline learning.
