Master of Computing (General Track)

The Master of Computing (General Track) is a coursework graduate programme from the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore. Over the years the school has developed the MComp into a broad and demanding degree, with specialised courses that bring in recent findings from applied and fundamental computing. The General Track is intended mainly for students whose undergraduate degrees were in non-computing subjects and offers a structured, accelerated route into the computing field. It combines foundation courses in computing with electives that build deeper expertise, with the aim of preparing graduates for careers in the infocomm sector. The degree requires a capstone project, four electives and six essential computing courses. Electives are chosen from level 4000 and 5000 courses in computer science and information systems offered by the school, and the capstone project runs across two semesters.
