Sustainable Built Environments is a second-cycle master's programme at the University of Primorska's Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies (UP FAMNIT), taught in Izola in Slovene and English. It can be taken full-time or part-time, lasts two years across four semesters and is worth 120 ECTS credits. Graduates receive the title magister inženir trajnostnega grajenega okolja, which the faculty treats as comparable to a master's qualification in built environment engineering.
Entry is open to those with an undergraduate degree in wood science or civil engineering, or with a professional programme recognised before June 2004 in either of those fields. Graduates of other fields equivalent in length and credit points may also be admitted if they pass additional examinations in subject matter essential to the programme, amounting to up to 30 ECTS credits and assigned by a Study Committee. Applicants with comparable education from abroad must first have it recognised.
Other sections of the page cover electives, competences and employment opportunities.
