BA/BS in Architecture

The Bachelor's programme in Architecture trains students to handle design problems at the three scales EPFL calls land, city and building. Teaching combines a methodical approach with theory and practice, reflecting the view that architects now work across many disciplines rather than one. Students gain a foundation in conceptual design, drawing and modelling, and the practical knowledge needed to take a project toward construction, including budgets and schedules. The page presents the programme as preparation for the Master's degree in architecture and for careers ranging from heritage management to site remediation and property valuation.
