The four-year Business Administration bachelor's programme at Balıkesir University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has been offered since 2008-2009. It totals 240 ECTS credits, of which 150 are compulsory and 90 elective. Students may choose electives from the fifth semester, and the final two semesters are fully elective.
The department has five branches: accounting and finance, management and organisation, production management and marketing, quantitative methods and commercial law. Graduates aim to work as accounting, finance, audit or data analysis specialists early in their careers, and in marketing, sales and customer relations later on. The Bologna package lists no internship.
